Report on a business trip to SevNTU of Ukraine by NTU of Ukraine «KPI» representatives
According to “ Tempus-1-2011-1-CZ-Tempus-JPCR EU-PC”, "EU- PC Double Degree Master Program in Automation / Mechatronics" program schedule, a group of National Technical University of Ukraine «KPI» employess visited Sevastopol National Technical University of Ukraine from 01.07.2013 to 05.07.2013.
Goal of the visit: training summer school on mechatronics, additional trainings on Claroline distance learning system usage, and learning the experience of different technical directions laboratories usage for complex students trainings on «Automation — Mechatronics - Robotics» directions at SevNTU (Sevastopol National Technical University). Final discussion of methodical guides on certain disciplines, needed by curricula and contracts on students' mobility within the framework of "EU- PC Double Degree Master Program in Automation / Mechatronics" program implementation.
Short contents:
1. Conference opening and keynote by Andrew Falaleev, Vice-Rector on Research at SevNTU.
2. Reports by partner universities representatives, project participants on finished work on curricula and methodical supplement.
3. Presentation about Mechatronics in the project by Lubomir Dimitrov, dean of Mechanical Engineering faculty at Sofia TU. Discussions on Sofia TU, Ukrainian and Russian universities double degree master trainings curricula bottlenecks took place.
4. Presentation about Mechatronics in the project at TUL by Jaroslav Nosek. He presented their experience in training students on double degree master programs. Several models of interactions between Ukrainian and Russian universities were presented.
5. Technical laboratories visits: FESTO laboratory of automation and measurements. Acquaintance with SevNTU mechatronics equipment.
6. As a conclusion, trainings on using electronic learning space based on Claroline system took place. Trainings were conducted by Adela Oukaci, Blaise Pascal University, France, Clermond-Ferrand and Alexander Suk, Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute.
